Reading Spot: The National Art Library
I've officially found heaven. Well what my idea of heaven would be. The National Art Library in the V&A Museum is quite possibly the best hidden gem of London. Or I'm just two years behind everyone else.
There are few words to describe how gorgeous it is. Floor to ceiling books, spiral staircases (which sadly I don't think are in use for jo public) and probably one of the quietest places you'll find in busy London. If you need somewhere to tackle the ever growing inbox then this is your place.
It's open Tuesdays - Saturdays and it's completely free. I'll pop a link to the direct website here with all the details as on first visit you need to prove who you are etc etc. You can also just pop in and stand by the door if you want to have a look, the nice lady behind the desk let me just stand there like a loon nodding my head at just how beautiful it is. I can imagine it gets fairly busy on a Saturday but I popped along late morning on Wednesday and there were plenty of spaces. I would throughly recommend you take your book or laptop at your earliest convenience and enjoy this beautiful spot. #LibraryGoals much?!
